Setting Goals

I am a very goal-oriented person in general. While I travel, I will consider location, money, and time, like majority of travellers does. If my time is limited, I will think about how really I want to do the activity where the money is required, since I absolutely have no idea when I will come back again. For example, I once were in Hawaii for only 8 days and I went to two islands: the Big Island and Oahu. I am more keen to enjoy nature than city. I really had no time to see all. I ended up spending $75USD just to visit Haleakala National Park, driving from a hostel in Maui at around 5AM and coming back to hostel at about 8AM so I can catch up with the trip organized by the hostel starting at 12AM.

I don’t regret spending so much money on one few-hour trip. Mauna Kea was the best to visit during sunrise and it was so breathtaking that I already missed the mountain at the moment I came back to the hostel.

I believe that we should research extensively before we travel if we have limited time. If we want to travel last minute, then we should list destinations in priority order.

The following are some amazing things that I have done, and these are because of my goal oriented trip. Sure I have more amazing trips, but these are the basis of my way of travelling. Travel while I can.

I really don’t travel much. I will try to travel more and find best locations to visit.
